Empowering Rural Women: Celebrating International Women’s Day 2024 in Ikot Obio Akpan, Akwa Ibom State

It’s that time of the year again when we celebrate the exceeding accomplishments and greatness of our women. 8th of March is set aside to celebrate International Women’s Day and we at https://www.tafcod.org will be celebrating this day with rural women of Ikot Obio Akpan, Ibesikpo LGA of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Our community women continue to be the pillar that holds families together, the cord that drives development and sustains it. By investing in them, we would be helping to accelerate progressive change within this community and beyond. Project August in collaboration with Angels At Dawn (both of TAFCOD) would be spearheading this celebratory development with these women and the community. Don’t be left out. Come and join us.
