Highlights of Angels at Dawn’s Initiatives:
Official Launch (3rd February 2023):
- The project was officially launched with the support and donations from generous individuals.
- The Nigerian team initiated impactful activities to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
Healthcare Support in Oron Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State:
- Visited General Hospital, Iquita, in Oron to offset medical and surgical expenses for indigent patients.
- Provided feeding allowances to attendants, bringing unexpected smiles to their faces.
Education Support:
- Paid tuition fees for three indigent University of Uyo undergraduate students.
- Delivered sandals, exercise books, and essential learning aids to pupils at Community Primary School, Obotim, Nsit Ibom, Akwa Ibom State.
Livelihood Support:
- Visited an aged and blind widow in Ukanafun Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, providing foodstuff and livelihood support.
Additional Healthcare Assistance:
- Covered the cesarean section birth and medical expenses for a teenage orphan girl in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
- Continues to provide ongoing support, including foodstuff and livelihood assistance for the teenage orphan and her twin babies.
Ongoing Support:
- Catered to various medical expenses for individuals in Lagos and Akwa Ibom States, embodying the project’s commitment to making a significant impact on people’s lives.
